Austin Chapter November Breakfast Meeting - Michael Kiolbassa, President, Kiolbassa Provision Company

Peter Drucker famously said, “Culture eats Strategy for lunch.” Join us to hear Michael Kiolbassa, President, Kiolbassa Provision Company, as he tells his story in "Return on Culture," detailing his shift in focus from strategy to developing a strong values-based (and ultimately open-book) culture and how it propelled his company’s growth from a small regional brand to one of the top 10 sausage brands in the country and one of the fastest-growing smoked meats brand in the U.S. Michael will share stories from this journey that will challenge and inspire executives to prioritize building a strong culture to drive both top-line and bottom-line performance.

COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS

FEI Austin is committed to ensuring that our chapter can continue to have the safest events possible in the face of the current COVID-19 pandemic. We are continually monitoring the latest guidance provided by federal, state and local health authorities. To that end, we will be implementing the following safety protocols as per the guidance of Austin Public Health at our upcoming events until further notice:
  • ALL attendees will be asked to wear a mask throughout the event, except when actively eating or drinking
  • Attendees who are NOT vaccinated, only partially vaccinated, or in a high-risk category are strongly recommended to not attend
  • Attendees will be asked to sign an FEI Austin COVID-19 waiver (either online during registration or at the event) before entering the meeting room
  • Additional space will be provided between seats at each breakfast table
  • Attendees should try to maintain adequate social distancing, frequently wash or sanitize hands, refrain from hugging or shaking hands, and cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or an elbow
  • Sanitizer will be provided at various points throughout the registration and meeting area
  • Attendees are encouraged to stay home if they have recently come into contact with someone with COVID-19 or if they are feeling unwell, including experiencing the following symptoms: fever or chills, cough, shortness or breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea.
