FEI Austin Chapter - August 2022 Breakfast Meeting - Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Panel Discussion


FEI Austin is thrilled to partner with Turnaround Management Association to bring you a special DEI focused panel discussion on "inclusivity in crisis and post-crisis environments." In this panel discussion, our panelists will discuss the difference between diversity, equity, and inclusion, identify the potential legal risks or costs related to DEI in turnaround, understand the business benefits of an optimal DEI culture, and understand the actions and costs needed to create an effective DEI culture.
Join us on Tuesday, August 16 featuring panelists Mindy Gulati, Founder and CEO of Fundamental Advisory, Preston L. James II, Co-Founder and CEO of DivInc, and Eden Minucci, CLM SHRM-CP, Partner, Legal Operations at Clear Guidance Partners as they answer poignant questions by guest moderator BiNi Coleman, Founder and CEO of 212 Catalysts.

COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS

FEI Austin is committed to ensuring that our chapter can continue to have the safest events possible in the face of the current COVID-19 pandemic. We are continually monitoring the latest guidance provided by federal, state, and local health authorities. To that end, we will be implementing the following safety protocols as per the guidance of Austin Public Health at our upcoming events until further notice:
  • Attendees who are up to date on all recommended COVID-19 vaccines and boosters do not need to wear a mask during the event
  • All those who are UNvaccinated, only partially vaccinated, or in a high-risk category are encouraged to wear a mask at all times (except when eating or drinking) OR to not attend
  • Attendees will be asked to sign an FEI Austin COVID-19 waiver (either online during registration or in person at the event) before entering the event space
  • Attendees should try to maintain adequate social distancing, frequently wash or sanitize hands, and cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or an elbow
  • Attendees are strongly encouraged to stay home if they have recently come into contact with someone with COVID-19 or if they are feeling unwell, including experiencing the following symptoms: fever or chills, cough, shortness or breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea.
