Mary Cook - Korn Ferry & Current FEI Chicago President
Mary is a Senior Managing Partner who leads the Midwest Finance and Accounting Interim practice at Korn Ferry. Her company, Salo, was acquired by Korn Ferry in 2023. At Salo, Mary built and spurred significant triple digit growth in the Chicago market. A proven leader, she focuses on building and expanding and brings that same passion for growth, employee development, and client service to Korn Ferry. Mary and her team are focused on placing motivated, accomplished and innovative consultants in senior level finance and accounting interim roles, at clients who need top talent to help solve day to day and strategics needs. They connect the right people with the right client role to help people and businesses evolve and succeed. Prior to Salo, Mary held CFO positions at Pampered Chef and Sears Holding Corporation. She has also held senior finance/executive roles at Chrysler and Spherion Technology. Mary began her career at Andersen Consulting in their change management practice. These diverse roles gave her experience in finance, operations, change management, and information technology within the retail, multilevel marketing (MLM), and automotive industries. She has worked in high-growth, turnaround, public, private, and PE companies.
Shaun Jones, CPSM, CPSD - Mondelez International & Current ISM Chicago President
Shaun Jones, CPSM, CPSD is the Global Sr. Director – Procurement, Economic Inclusion & Supplier Diversity for Mondelez International. Shaun leads initiatives cultivating, developing and supporting equitable opportunities for diverse suppliers. Shaun was recently honored in October of 2023 on being selected as one of Crain’s Chicago Business’ Notable Leaders in DEI! Shaun is a procurement & supply chain management professional with over 23 years of experience in procurement strategy, cost reduction, quality improvement and risk mitigation. He has lead procurement initiatives in a number of organizations throughout his career with such companies as Walgreens Boots Alliance, ARYZTA, Newell Rubbermaid and Stepan. Shaun is a Chicagoland native and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management from Western Michigan University and Masters in Business Administration from Roosevelt University.

Fernando is a seasoned financial executive with a proven track record of success in leading financial roles across multinational corporations and various industries. With over two decades of experience, Fernando has held key financial leadership positions globally and regionally, including Chief Financial Officer roles in the U.S., Mexico, and Brazil. He has managed P&L accountability for revenues exceeding $1.3 billion and overseen financial analysis and reporting for business units generating up to $3.7 billion in revenue. Fernando's expertise encompasses strategic business planning, financial controls, working capital management, finance digital transformation, and mergers & acquisitions. He has consistently driven profitable growth by collaborating with business leaders to implement new business models and manage complex systems projects, improving project lifecycles, and mitigating cost deviations.
Ron Gozum, CFO - C. Cretors and Company
Ron started his career at a Big 8 public accounting firm and has over 35 years of diverse Accounting and Finance experience and worked as a President, CFO, Controller, Auditor, and FP&A Manager in the public accounting, manufacturing, telecom, mortgage banking, real estate, and management consulting space with companies such as Arthur Andersen, Southwestern Bell, TravelClick, Universal Bancorp, and Robert Half. His last 13 years have been in manufacturing and management consulting. He currently works for C. Cretors and Company as the CFO. Accounting, Finance, HR, and IT are under his purview. Cretors is the premiere manufacturer of popcorn machinery and equipment for commercial and industrial use. Cretors also makes small concession equipment like hot dog grills and pizza warmers. Cretors has a remarkable story. It is close to 140 years old and is a fifth-generation family-owned business. Cretors patented the first commercial popcorn machine in 1893, serves over 150 countries and boasts over 80 unique patents. A global company with an illustrious history and family culture.
Christopher Mapes, Senior Vice President, Supply Chain - Briggs & Stratton
Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Chris Mapes oversees the development of sourcing, logistics, and materials planning. He joined the company in 2021. Before joining Briggs & Stratton, he served as vice president of global procurement for First Brands Group, LLC. He brings 25 years of supply chain leadership experience to Briggs & Stratton from companies such as Xylem Inc., Dover Corporation, and Navistar (now Traton). He holds a Master of Business Administration from Benedictine University and a Bachelors in Production Procurement from Bowling Green State University.
Matthew Rootberg, Global Vice President of Procurement – Baxter International
Matthew is a dynamic, people first Procurement leader with an established record of exemplary financial delivery and leadership in global organizations. He presently oversees the Global Procurement function at Baxter International and is leading a comprehensive Procurement transformation across their business. Prior to his time at Baxter, Matthew held various leadership roles at Walgreens and KraftHeinz in a vast array of direct and indirect procurement categories. Matthew brings nearly 20 years of Procurement experience across myriad industries including Manufacturing, Distribution, CPG, and Retail Pharmacy, Healthcare and MedTech. He has an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University, an MBA in Strategy from Eastern Michigan University, and was the winner of the Future Leader/CPO award at the Procurement Leaders World Procurement Awards in 2022. His innovative thought-provoking leadership style helps develop his team’s capabilities while strengthening stakeholder relationships, enabling his team to challenge the status quo with greater success.
