Skip’s presentation will focus on job search preparedness, both from a ‘paperwork’ standpoint (e.g. resumes, handbills, profiles, business cards etc.) as well as networking tips, LinkedIn usage, email accounts and etiquette, elevator pitches and other related topics. Many of the tips and suggestions presented will be the direct opposite from what other ‘experts’ recommend.  The reasons and background for his views will be fully explained, and attendees will then be able to form their own opinions on how to best approach their personal job search.  The session will be very lively, fast moving and interactive, with continuous questions and answers (and maybe even with some people being put on the spot).  There will be no PowerPoint presentation, so be prepared to take judicious notes.
