Based in Chicago, he currently serves as a Managing Director at Grant Thornton LLP.  Mike has worked with mid-sized and Fortune 500 companies in manufacturing, financial services, renewable fuels, consumer products, and technology sectors. As the former National Leader of Credits & Incentives for Sears Holdings Corporation, he has significant experience in assisting retail clients. Mike has assisted his clients implement over $700 million of tax and non-tax incentives over the course of his career. Mike has served as an expert witness in federal tax court and has also testified in front of various legislative bodies on tax credit and incentive policy.
