FEI Chicago Chapter A&AB

AABLogo_FINAL.jpgThe Analyst & Associate Board (A&AB) is an FEI Chicago Chapter Committee comprised of FEI Chicago Chapter Members and Young Business Professionals.  Since its founding over four years ago, A&AB has worked hard to fulfill their mission of “providing young professionals with transformative educational opportunities in finance and business, as well as networking events, mentorship, and guidance to help them develop into the Chicago financial leaders of tomorrow.”

A&AB hosts semi-annual C-Suite networking breakfast events that unite students, young professionals and seasoned executives to learn from speakers on a range of relevant topics.  Past discussions include: Millennials in the Workplace, Mastering Your Brand and most recently Venture Capital – The What & The How, featuring Abhinaya Konduru, a young Venture Capitalist from M25. The event was a huge success, enjoyed by all in attendance! Our next C-Suite event “Economics, Politics and the Change in the New Decade: Are We In Good Hands?” with Allstate’s Chief Economist, Joshua McCallum will be held on April 24, 2020.  To register, click here.

The A&AB has done an astonishing job in grabbing the attention of professionals from all-levels by covering topics that relate to everyone. The attendance at these events has steadily increased, with attendees expressing continued interest in A&AB events and activities, which provide opportunities to network and connect with both young and experienced finance professionals.

In addition to their C-Suite events, the A&AB has continued to establish more expansive goals, such as an A&AB page on the Chicago Chapter website. Through this page, the A&AB aspires to create opportunities to connect hiring directors from local Chicagoland companies to A&AB young professionals to help them grow in their careers. The website page will also serve as the home of A&AB where interested parties can look up upcoming events and apply to become a part of the committee.  The website can be found at here.

With a strong network by its side, the A&AB hopes to continue hosting one networking event per quarter and to continue expanding its outreach. The A&AB has hosted presentations on many of Chicago area campuses, providing college students with insight into what the group is all about and where it is headed. These presentations serve as a great tool to spread awareness and motivate prospective members to join the A&AB.
