Senior Accountant. Reporting to the COO, the
Senior Accountant will work closely with all company staff, clients, partners, board members and shareholders.

Core Responsibilities:
- Analyzing financial information and summarizing financial status;
- Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable;
- Preparing error-free accounting reports and financial statements;
- Performing monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses;
- Managing project/portfolio accounting;
- Contributing to the design and preparation of budgets for review by executives;
- Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas;
- Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls;
- Reviewing and recommending modifications to accounting systems & procedures;
- Providing input into the formulation of the company’s KPI’s and success metrics;
- Managing external tax accounting service provider relationship;
- Directing internal and external audits to ensure compliance

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant (Master’s preferred);
- 10+ years of experience, 3+ years as senior accountant or financial controller;
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with thorough knowledge of accounting procedures;
- Project accounting experience (infrastructure projects preferred);
- Entrepreneurial experience a strong plus.
