Three Degrees:  Why Precision is Vital to Business Success

In the military, the difference between success or failure of a mission – be it hitting a target or landing aircraft on a moving carrier in the middle of the ocean – is often measured by achieving accuracy within a margin of less than three degrees.  The same principles apply to business, where success demands a thorough understanding of the objective, intense focus, and continual readjustment to account for changing circumstances.  Former Navy fighter pilot Jake Ellzey will illustrate his discussion of the importance of precision with compelling video footage from his active-duty days.

Jake Ellzey | CEO, Holdfast Harbor

Learning Objectives – Attendees will lean the importance of the role of precision in planning and develop an appreciation for agility and strategies for adjusting as circumstances change.  You will also learn communication strategies and, in particular, the importance of the debriefing (or reverse engineering) process, to ensure that your team is even better equipped for the next challenge.
