FEI Delaware Chapter's May Networking Luncheon

The FEI Delaware Chapter’s May Networking Luncheon will feature Jeffrey D. Randol, Executive Director of the Fort DuPont Redevelopment & Preservation Corporation.

Jeff will provide insight on the redevelopment of the Fort DuPont site. Starting in 2016, a new community will emerge from this 325-acre National Historic District lying between the Delaware River on the east, the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal on the south and the Delaware City Branch Canal on the north.

Residential districts with waterfront views are being designed for a combination of single family, townhome, duplex and apartment living. They will incorporate renovated buildings dating to the time when Fort DuPont was an active military base. Commercial areas and office buildings will supplement the housing to create a place where walking, biking and boating can be enjoyed. Residents and visitors alike will enjoy Marina Village with its 150-slip marina, dining, shops and overnight lodging.

Jeff Randol is a seasoned Developer who has been recognized nationally for his work in economic development and has been engaged by several communities across the country to advise on development and redevelopment strategies. His efforts resulted in receipt of the National Association of Counties Award for Excellence.
