Transforming Learning & Development

Speaker: Alan Brush, Human Capital Practice Leader, Sirius Solutions, L.L.L.P.

Learning & Development in the corporate marketplace has been typically pushed out, linear in methodology, with a one-size fits all approach.  With the Millennial generation constituting 33% of the workforce today and 75% by 2025, a sea change is needed to effectively develop and retain key personnel.  Learning should be looked as continuous, timely, with significant support at the time of need, with clear and easy reinforcement mechanisms to support true learning transfer and behavior change.  Our presentation focuses on a proposed approach to bridge the gap between training and true learning & development.

Learning Objectives:

  • Why the current state of learning & development is not working
  • How a new generation in the workforce is affecting change
  • Methodology for making learning & development a significant part of a corporate culture
  • Why Change is Needed NOW
