"Cyber Security" Breakfast Event

Understanding Cyber Attacks

Recent high-profile data breaches have resulted in increased focus on cyber security from corporate leadership.  Furthermore, organizations are spending increased time and effort demonstrating compliance to new cyber security regulations and responding to cyber security queries from clients, auditors, regulators, and the board.

This presentation is geared towards explaining the anatomy of a cyber-attack.  First the stages of an attack are laid out – starting with the initial reconnaissance of the target to the final exfiltration of data.   Next a few real world examples of data breaches are presented.  Finally high-level steps for mitigating cyber risks are discussed – with an emphasis on actions Financial Executives can take within their own organization.

Join Samitha Amarasiri for an in-depth discussion.

Breakfast will be served.
