Wage and Hour Compliance

The Department of Labor estimates that over 80% of employers have some degree of non-compliance with wage-hour laws. Many organizations are shocked when they learn how a single non-compliant employee can result in a major lawsuit. Compliance with the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and related state laws can be difficult for any organization. Failure to comply, even when its unintentional, is proven to be very expensive.

Join your colleagues for a special FEI Long Island event, Wage and Hour Compliance, where you will learn how to avoid costly litigation by ensuring your organization is compliant with the Fair Labor Standards Act and New York Labor Law. Specifically we will discuss:

  • Professional, Administrative and Executive Overtime Exemptions
  • Best Practices for Employee Timekeeping
  • Real World Examples and Practical Implications
  • Sick Pay and Paid Family Leave Rules
