2025 Economic Forecast

Speaker Update:  Welcoming Dr. Thomas Ash to Our Upcoming Dinner

We regret to share that Dr. Jerry Nickelsburg, originally scheduled to speak at our upcoming event, is unable to join us due to the impacts of the Palisades wildfire. Our thoughts are with Dr. Jerry and everyone affected during this challenging time.

We’re pleased to announce that Dr. Thomas Ash will be stepping in as our speaker. As a researcher at the UCLA Anderson Forecast, Dr. Ash focuses on forecasting the economic impacts of climate change and the California economy. His recent work explores Green Finance and ESG, the role of social media in herding and asset price bubbles, and macroeconomic models analyzing climate change's effects through natural disasters.

Prior to our Economic Forecast presentation, join us for a PD Session on Artificial Intelligence: Transforming the Way We Work.

Did you know it took 75 years for the telephone to reach 100 million users, but only 2 months for ChatGPT to achieve the same milestone? AI is here, and its impact will be nothing short of disruptive.

Join FEI’s Julia Kozlov for an engaging professional development session exploring the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the finance profession. Learn about its current and future impact, practical strategies for integration, and why now is the time to embrace this game-changing technology. If AI isn’t on your radar, it should be!
