The House that Love Built

Since opening in 1980, the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House has provided comfort, care and support to children and families in Southern California. Their hope is to create a community where children and their families embrace life and healing with a sense of hope, enthusiasm, courage and joy by keeping families close to each other and the care they need.

Forty-two years later, unifying the efforts of the six houses, a camp, two family rooms and other programs, the Southern California Chapter of Ronald McDonald House Charities is committed to creating a community where children and their families embrace life and healing with a sense of hope, enthusiasm, courage and joy.

Learn more at our dinner meeting from Fatima Djelmane Rodriguez, CEO, as she shares the history of this amazing organization, the challenges to operate the largest program in the world, the impact to the guests staying at the various facilities and the effect the community has on making a difference.
