FEI-Louisville announces speakers and topics

LOUISVILLE - The Louisville chapter of Financial Executives International has announced major parts of its 2017-18 speaker lineup that includes a focus on millenials, motivation, leadership, cyber security, and....ethics insights from a convicted CFO.
The speakers include: 
  • Dr. Bob Nelson, considered one of the world’s leading experts on employee motivation, performance, engagement, recognition and rewards.  Nelson's company works with organizations to improve management practices and systems. His client list includes several Fortune 500 companies. He  previously worked closely with Dr. Ken Blanchard (The One Minute Manager). (October 2017)
  • Brent Schutte, chief investment officer for Northwestern Mutual, Minneapolis.  Schutte presents an economic outlook to a joint FEI-Louisville /Louisville Downtown Rotary Club meeting. (Jan. 11, 2018)
  • Andy Fastow, former Enron CFO, is scheduled to provide his unique perspectives to FEI members in a shared session with the CFA Society of Louisville. (Tentatively March 2018). 
  • ‚ÄčAllison Ball, Kentucky State Treasurer.  Ball, elected in 2016, will touch on leadership topics. 

Other speakers and topics under development:

  • Productivity employing technology
  • Cyber security and cyber break-ins
  • All-day CPE session in conjunction with Ernst & Young
