Dear FEI NYC members and sponsors,
This is a follow up to our previous email regarding the rapidly developing COVID-19 situation.
Concerns surrounding the virus are causing many companies to implement corporate travel restrictions, office closures and work from home which are affecting our chapter meetings as it relates to speakers and attendance.
Considering the fast moving events and since safety and health of our members and supporters is of the utmost importance,
all FEI NYC events scheduled from now until April 30th are being postponed to a later date. We will be keeping our members and attendees updated on new dates of events. Event attendance fees already paid for events affected can either be applied towards the new event date or can be refunded. Please contact Amanda Luckie at
[email protected] to get this processed.
As you may have heard, effective tomorrow at midnight a travel ban to and from Europe will be implemented. You can find factual information pertaining to COVID-19 by visiting the Center for Disease Control and Prevention website at
www.cdc.gov.
If you are experiencing any potential COVID-19 symptoms (i.e. dry cough, fever, etc.) please follow the CDC ‘Prevention and Treatment’ guidance below.
