NWPA Chapter September Meeting - "Salaried Employees and the Overtime Exemption"

Salaried Employees and the Overtime Exemption

Join your peers for the conversation with Attorney Mark Wassell, Shareholder at Knox Law.  Mark will review the “white collar” exemptions under both federal and Pennsylvania laws, and the necessary elements that make a salaried employee exempt from overtime.  The salaried threshold and job duties required of a salaried, exempt employee will be examined.  Possible changes in the law expected from President Biden will be discussed and Mark will be available to answer questions.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Inform and educate on the legal requirements that must be met before an employee can be denied overtime compensation.
