FEI Pittsburgh Chapter Meeting with Steve Schott, President & CEO, Calgon Carbon

March 11, 2020: Today the chapter leadership made the difficult decision to defer this event.  We are working with Mr. Schott's office to re-schedule his address and will advise you of the new date as soon as possible.  Contact Christina at 412-303-3516 with questions.  Thank you for understanding.

FEI Pittsburgh is pleased to host Calgon Carbon President and Chief Executive Officer, Stevan R. Schott.   A former CFO himself, Steve's experience mirrors that of many of our members, and it will be interesting to hear more about his path and his vision for Calgon Carbon.

Implementing A Rolling Forecast | Led by Brian Eccher, Principal, Technology Solutions

Join Grant Thornton's Brian Eccher as he describes the keys to successfully implementing a rolling forecast, a powerful tool that can optimize your team's time through its inherent characteristics:  it's perpetually current, predictive, and aligned to your true business cycle, just to name a few benefits.

Session participants will:

  1. Be able to define a rolling forecast and describe its benefits
  2. Determine which businesses and industries are best-suited for this model
  3. Formulate a rolling forecast design, incorporating options such as time horizon and level of detail
  4. Assess whether an organization has the technology elements in place to be able to create a sustainable rolling forecast
  5. Identify the cultural impact that a rolling forecast can have on an organization, and use it as a tool to engage with the business instead of simply going through a financial exercise.
