SDFEI's January 18th Dinner will feature a Professional Development Session and Keynote presentation at the beautiful Fairbanks Ranch Country Club!

"The Art of Innovation" with Guy Kawasaki
SDFEI is pleased to welcome Guy Kawasaki as our keynote speaker.  Guy Kawasaki is the chief evangelist of Canva, an online graphic design tool. He is a brand ambassador for Mercedes-Benz  and an executive fellow of the Haas School of Business (UC Berkeley).  He was the chief evangelist of Apple and a trustee of the Wikimedia Foundation.  His experiences make him the perfect candidate to speak on "The Art of Innovation."  His most popular speech, Guy will talk about creating innovative products and services using tactical and practical techniques, making sure your company is jumping ahead of the curve.  Dinner will be served at 6:30 pm with the presentation following.

2018 Economic and Market Outlook: The Year Ahead
This Professional Development Session will take place prior from 4:45 pm - 5:45 pm.  Presented by Deanna Steele, Head of National Portfolio Management and Consultancy Practice with U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management.  This session qualifies for 1 CPE unit and will include:

  • 2018 Growth Catalysts
  • Potential Risks for 2018
  • Investor and Portfolio Positioning

Chapter members may occasionally bring one guest to chapter meetings subject to advance registration and approval.  Guest fees are payable by credit card in advance at the time of registration.  Guests may not serve in a business development role for a firm that provides products or services to financial executives unless specifically approved in advance.  Guest may only attend one event.
Special provisions for individuals who are qualified for FEI membership:  Prospective members may attend one chapter meeting on a complimentary basis, allowing them to evaluate the benefits of FEI membership. Scroll down for membership qualifications.  Please confirm eligibility before submitting guest request.

SD FEI Members: While there is no cancellation fee, we appreciate 48 ‘business’ hours notice in order to give appropriate meal counts.  The hotel charges SD FEI whether or not the member attends if they are registered, so please let us know if your plans change.
Guests:  Guest fees will be refunded upon request given that cancellation is received at least 24 ‘business’ hours prior to the event.  We recognize that plans can change at the last minute; however, as good stewards of our chapter finances we ask your help in controlling expenses due to last-minute cancellations and no‑shows.
