The Future of Work: The Finance Labor Model in the Digital Age (Afternoon PD Session)

THIS SESSION PRECEDES OUR NETWORKING AND EVENING EVENT - REGISTER FOR EACH SEPARATELY ONLINE

Technology isn’t just changing how work gets done in finance and accounting, it’s changing who is doing it. The future labor model will include multiple sources for skills and experience. On the other hand, robotics is enticing companies with a lower-cost, digital strategy, altering accounting and finance jobs and employees’ responsibilities.

How will these trends impact management’s ability to create and maintain a competitive, agile workforce?  How will they impact business models and labor pools? How might they impact your company? This presentation will answer these questions and also examine staffing models companies are adopting, evolving skill sets and how to hire for and develop them, and ways financial leaders can stay on top of – and ahead of – emerging trends.
