The session is designed to advance your readiness to serve and create an action plan to enhance your candidacy.
Join us for an afternoon with David Koenig, CEO of the DCRO Risk Governance Institute, our distinguished keynote speaker who will delve into how these assessments can shape your personal roadmap to board roles and strengthen your effectiveness. David, along with a panel of seasoned local board directors, will share their strategies and experience in securing board positions. Following the keynote and panel discussion, attendees will engage in small group discussions, facilitated by David and the panelists. This is an exceptional chance to leverage assessment findings, gain insights, network with peers, and create actionable plans for your journey to board service.
You will leave with:
- Understanding your inventory of experiences compared to their database of active board members on non-profit, advisory, private company, and public company boards.
- How to best use the information in your report to plan your board ascendancy.
- Strategies to differentiate yourself for board roles and embrace risk as part of effective governance.
- Awareness of how your personality type can best fit into the work of a board and its committees, as well as how to better understand the sources of conflicts that arise in groups of mixed risk personalities.
- Optional 1:1 follow-up coaching session to review your assessment results and tailor your personal roadmap. (Separate $50 fee)
