SPAC Bootcamp Presented by FEI, KPMG, and Perkins Coie

Special purpose acquisition Companies (SPACs)—also known as blank check companies—raised more than $80 billion in 2020. Now, they are looking to spend that capital on privately held companies. But securing that blank check investment isn’t as easy as it sounds.
Join us as professionals from FEI, KPMG, and Perkins Coie examine the accounting, legal, governance, and financial challenges and opportunities involved with SPAC transactions.

Learning objectives:
By the end of this course, participants should be able to:
- Recognize and identify the key features of SPACs
- Describe the differences between a SPAC transaction versus an Initial Public Offering
- Identify the key accounting, legal and tax planning and preparedness considerations relating to SPAC transactions
