Overview

Financial Executives International offers a series of in-person, live technical training courses that offers attendees the opportunity to broaden their financial and accounting skill set while earning valuable continuing professional education (CPE) credits.

 

Areas of technical training include:

  • Anti-Fraud Skills for Financial Leaders: This one-day course is geared toward financial professionals in private and public companies and firms responsible for fraud management, risk management and internal controls from line managers to CFOs and the Board of Directors.
  • Developing SEC Reporting and Filing Expertise: Geared toward the practicing professional directly or indirectly responsible for SEC reporting within an organization. If you are an audit committee member, CFO, controller, assistant controller, SEC reporting manager, auditor, legal counsel or other professional wanting to learn more about SEC reporting, this two-day workshop is intended to give you the foundation you’ll need to succeed in your current role.
  • Liabilities and Equity: Understanding the Accounting Roadmap: Participants will learn how to navigate the accounting roadmap, analyze an instrument under existing U.S. GAAP and reach an appropriate accounting conclusion. 
  • The COSO Internal Control Certificate Program: This course offers you a unique opportunity to develop your expertise in designing, implementing and monitoring a system of internal control  based on COSO’s 2013 Internal Control - Integrated Framework.
  • Financial Leadership & Decision Making Amid Complexity: The course will take teams of participants through six simulation rounds, each representing a fiscal quarter, that present real-world business challenges in role-play scenarios with faculty.
