Members of Financial Executives International lead by example, operating with the highest integrity and strongest codes of ethics. As human beings we are angered and heartbroken with the violence and vitriol that took George Floyd’s life. As an organization we denounce racism, in any form, especially any acts of hatred that have targeted the Black and African American communities.
Our member-driven association is devoted to encouraging environments and actions that display dignity, respect, fairness, peace, and equality. It is through this deep commitment to personal and professional conduct that our members will continue to challenge their peers and our organization to rise to a higher standard. FEI held its Annual Business Meeting of Members on June 5 and announced that together we will take on these challenging conversations and bring the ongoing issue of race, inequity, and equality to the forefront for all our local member communities. As a first step, we will engage a series of Town Hall discussions and support an ongoing, active, and anti-racist dialogue. Today, we stand united and pledge to listen and learn, connect with our peers, and meaningfully contribute to possible solutions.
