Linda Zukauckas

Linda Zukauckas is EVP, Corporate Controller of American Express. In this role, she leads a global team of 750 employees in nearly 40 countries. She is a member of American Express’ Global Management Team and sits on several committees, including Enterprise Risk Management, Credit Reserve, Financial Disclosure, Basel, and Enterprise Data Governance. Zukauckas is also the Executive Sponsor of the Company’s Executive Women’s Interest Network (WIN) and sits on the Board of Directors of American Express Global Business Travel (GBT), a JV 50%-owned by American Express. Additionally, Zukauckas is the past- President of Financial Executives International’s (FEI) New York City Chapter and currently represents FEI’s Committee on Corporate Reporting (CCR). She also serves on the Board of Directors for FEI at the national level. Prior to joining American Express, Zukauckas held various senior leadership roles at Ally Financial (formerly GMAC), including Controller/CAO and divisional CFO roles. Her most recent position was Managing Director; Corporate Strategy, where she had responsibility for bank strategy matters including M&A. Before joining GMAC, she held senior audit roles at Deutsche Bank / Bankers Trust, including Chief Auditor of the Global Investment Bank, and Director of Audit in the Asia region, during which time she was based in Singapore. She began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She is a CPA and holds a BBA (Accounting) degree from Texas Tech University. A native Texan, Zukauckas now resides in New York City.
