John Tittle, Jr., CPA/CFF/CGMA, CTP, CIRA, CDBV heads the Bankruptcy and Restructuring practice of Harris & Dickey, LLC, a boutique certified women-owned management consulting and recruiting firm, headquartered in Dallas, Texas. John has over 30 years of bankruptcy advisory, restructuring, and financial consulting experience. Mr. Tittle’s areas of special emphasis in his career have included rendering bankruptcy advisory/reorganization services on behalf of varied stakeholders in the bankruptcy/turnaround arena, obtaining debt and equity capital, acting as a principal or an advisor in merger and acquisition activities, including substantial attention to due diligence matters, rendering business valuations and solvency opinions, and providing expert testimony and litigation consulting services in judicial proceedings.
John has gained extensive experience in reorganization activities, bankruptcies, turnaround engagements, valuation, and corporate finance since the mid-1980s. In these assignments, he has served in the capacities of Chief Executive Officer, Chief Restructuring Officer, Trustee, Keeper/Receiver, financial advisor, accountant, and consultant. Mr. Tittle has also been retained over the years in numerous cases in which he had to opine and render testimony relative to recharacterization issues, accounting and financial matters, damage calculation projects, valuation and solvency issues, and other adversary proceedings in a bankruptcy context.
Mr. Tittle joined Harris & Dickey in March 2020 after operating his own restructuring and financial advisory services boutique firm for 9 years. His previous roles include leading the Southwest Region for XRoads Solutions Group, LLC and the Reorganization Services practice in the Mid-America Region as a partner for Deloitte. John also served as a Director in the Financial Advisory Services practice of Price Waterhouse LLP and as President of Cascade International Capital.
John received his BBA in Accounting from Texas Christian University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor, a Certified Turnaround Professional, and holds the Certified in Financial Forensics and Chartered Global Management Accountant designations from the American Institute of CPAs and the Certification in Distressed Business Valuation from the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors. John is a 30th Anniversary Circle Member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and served as its Treasurer for four years (term-limited) and on its Board of Directors for 15 years.
