Robert Damon, a CPA, formed Damon Strategic Consulting expanding on his 35 plus years of corporate and public accounting experience. Most recently he was Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting officer of SFX Entertainment, Inc., a publicly traded company in the live entertainment and digital content businesses. Prior to joining SFX, Mr. Damon was the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Katz Media Group, Inc., a leading media representation firm for radio, television and digital content companies. Mr. Damon was also Corporate Controller at Liberty Fabrics, Inc., a large US based textile manufacturing and distribution company
A graduate of Long Island University—Post Campus, Mr. Damon began his career spending 12 years in public accounting including 8 years with Ernst and Young in New York City.
Mr. Damon is a member of the executive committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Media Financial Managers Association, a nonprofit industry organization representing financial and credit professionals from media and digital organizations. He is also Treasurer and Board Member of the Timbercreek Homeowners Association, a Board Member and President of the Long Island Chapter of the Financial Executives International, ,a CPA and a member of the AICPA and NYSSCPAs.
