Americas Family Business Tax Leader
Bobby is a partner at Ernst & Young LLP and serves as the EY Americas Family Business Tax Leader. His primary focus is on advising family businesses, their owners and family members on how to grow and preserve their wealth, while dealing with the complex issues of business succession, governance, income tax and transfer tax. Bobby also has extensive experience advising families on the setup and structure of their family office and private foundations.
Bobby has more than 26 years of experience serving family companies, specifically in helping to resolve the personal, transitional and tax challenges faced by family businesses. Bobby is a regular instructor and speaker at seminars on business succession and wealth transfer issues throughout the US, Latin America and Canada, and most recently presented Creating Your Family Business Wealth Legacy at the 2018 Family Business Wealth Conference and Essentials of the Family Office for Estate Planners – A Primer on Functions, Structures and Related Issues, and Family Office 101 at the 2017 YPO Family Business Retreat.
