Alan Sikora completed his MBA at the University of Rochester's Simon Graduate School of Business with concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Alan also holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Rochester. He has been a Certified Leasing Professional (CLP) since 2010.
Alan joined First American in 2002 as a Project Manager in the credit and operations department. He was the recipient of the company's "Chairman's Award" for excellence in character and leadership in 2004. In 2012, 2013 and 2014, the Best Companies Group chose First American as a top 5 best place to work in New York State (less than 250 employees).
Alan is active in the Washington, DC-based trade association representing the $903 billion equipment finance industry in the U.S.: the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA). In 2013, Alan was elected to the ELFA Financial Institutions Business Council Steering Committee. In 2014, he was elected as Chair of the committee. He is also a past member of the Renaissance Executive Forums.
Alan is an avid golfer and resides in Penfield, New York with his wife Kristen, son Jack and daughter Ella.
