Karyn Alvarez is the Recruiting Director at The Container Store. Karyn’s 21-year career with the company started in the store stocking shelves and evolved into training and then recruiting. The common thread throughout every position has been her passion for people and care for candidates. Karyn has lead the efforts for recruiting, talent acquisition, HRIS integrations, developing onboarding programs, employee engagement and on-going leadership development programs. She holds a degree in Dance from The University of Texas at Austin. Hook ‘em horns! Outside of work, Karyn loves to cook with her teenage son, go on hikes with her husband and is an aspiring quilter.
