Scott is a partner in Crowe LLP’s National Office and serves as the firm’s partner in-charge of accounting. In this role, Scott is responsible for formulating firm positions on technical accounting matters under US GAAP and IFRS for both private and public companies. Scott has previously served as the Chair of the Illinois CPA Society’s Accounting Principles Committee. Prior to joining Crowe, Scott spent nearly 3 years in the Inspections Division of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). Prior to his time at the PCAOB, Scott was a senior manager at a “Big 4” accounting firm where he managed audit engagements of large diversified global financial services companies.
