Baret currently leads financial and operational efforts as the Chief Financial Officer at SKG Texas, a commercial furniture and workspace solutions organization.
Prior to joining SKG Texas, he directed financial operations as the Chief Financial Officer at Billy Reid, a private-equity backed, omni-channel luxury fashion brand.
Previously, Baret spent eight years in consulting. Focused primarily on leveraging Oracle software technology to solve complex business problems, Baret delivered technology-driven budgeting and forecasting solutions to firms across the energy, consumer package goods, insurance and footwear sectors.
Baret began his career in Austin, Texas at the Oil & Gas Department at The University of Texas Lands Office before three years in Accounting at the PGA TOUR in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
Baret has an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of Florida. A Dallas native and resident, he and his wife Tina have two children.
