Kevin Whitmer is the VP/Content for NJ Advance Media. He was previously the Editor-in-Chief of The Star Ledger, the country’s 16th largest newspaper and the news organization that produces the majority of content for NJ.com. In Whitmer's time as the organization's top editor, the paper was recognized with several major journalism awards, including a Pulitzer Prize, a Polk Award, an American Society of News Editor award, 14 New York Emmys, and four straight New Jersey Press Association General Excellence Awards.
