Mr. Paul Dunn

Paul is a partner in the Consulting Services group specializing in business advisory services. Paul works with finance organizations to improve corporate performance in order to drive shareholder value. A results-oriented finance executive, Paul is highly effective in building senior-level executive relationships and leading clients in successfully implementing high-value performance improvement strategies. Paul is a collaborative communicator with deep subject matter expertise in finance and operations across multiple industries and technologies.
 
Paul leads complex projects in finance transformation, corporate performance management, and strategic cost reduction. He has helped companies drive consistency, efficiency, and transparency with reporting at various levels of the business. Results from his project teams have enabled informed decision-making and analysis.
 
With over 25 years of experience, Paul has multi-industry experience in performance and cost management, business process analysis and reengineering, and shared services, including the design and implementation of cost management programs for complex clients. He has led numerous cost management/profit improvement projects with large corporate organizations including Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, Energy Future Holdings, La Quinta, Inc., Waste Management, PillowTex, Frito-Lay, Verizon, and Honda of America.
Prior to joining MCG, Paul spent five years with Ernst & Young LLP focused on process improvement and finance organization optimization and transformation. Paul has also held roles such as director at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, senior director at Hitachi Consulting, and partner at Arthur Andersen LLP in Dallas.
 
Paul is a CPA, a Certified Management Accountant, and a member of Finance Executives International. He is a project management professional licensed by the Project Management Institute, and certified through the American Society of Quality as a Six Sigma Black Belt. He serves on the Board of Examiners for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
 
Paul holds a master of professional accountancy from Baylor University, and a bachelor of business administration in accounting from the University of Texas-Arlington.
