Brian Cove

Brian Cove leads the association’s committees focused on private company issues and their impact on FEI members. He is responsible for producing content and crafting professional development programs for FEI’s private company members, in addition to monitoring all federal and regulatory legislation, developing comment letters and position papers, and generating detailed updates for standards-setters, regulators, policy makers and the FEI membership. His hiring strengthens the technical resources and expertise available to the membership. Cove joins FEI from the Commercial Finance Association where he was Chief Operating Officer and a member of the executive management team. During his tenure, he directed the organization’s government relations and communications programs and managed day-to-day operations. He joined the Commercial Finance Association as government relations director, and began his career in government relations at Inverness Corporation and Honda North America. Financial Executives International is the leading advocate for the views of corporate financial management. Its more than 10,000 members hold policy-making positions as chief financial officers, treasurers and controllers at companies from every major industry. FEI enhances member professional development through peer networking, career management services, conferences, research and publications. Members participate in the activities of 74 chapters in the U.S. and a chapter in Japan. FEI is headquartered in Morristown, NJ, with a Government Affairs office in Washington, D.C.
