Jorge Marquez

Jorge Marquez is the Southern California-based senior vice president for Robert Half Government specializing in the delivery of consulting and talent solutions with federal, state, and local government agency clients and government contracting partners. Jorge also is the Program Leader for Robert Half’s Apprenticeship and Workforce Innovation (AWI) solution which goal is to develop a skilled, diverse, and inclusive professional workforce through apprenticeships launching in Southern California in the areas of cybersecurity and accounting expanding nationwide into additional professional roles.

Jorge began his career with Robert Half as a division director for Robert Half Management Resources in La Jolla and was quickly promoted to metro market manager for the Westwood and City of Industry offices. Subsequently, he was promoted to a vice president supporting enterprise/client solutions driving global collaboration projects and solutions across Robert Half and Protiviti. Jorge has been responsible for developing several notable client engagements during his tenure with Robert Half. In addition, Jorge has over 15 years of advisory experience in assurance, tax, consulting, and business development in the Southern California market, including extensive experience cultivating executive-level relationships. He earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of California Riverside and obtained his CPA license more than 10 years ago.

Additionally, Jorge is a proud founding member of Somos Familia, one of Robert Half’s six new Employee Network Groups created to amplify Hispanic and LatinX perspectives while creating networks, community, and growth opportunities for those employees. As a resident of Los Angeles, Jorge sits on the County Workforce Development Board, which services approximately 4 million residents, 57 of the 88 cities and approximately 150 unincorporated communities within the County. Jorge serves on the Advisory Boards for both the Transformative Leadership in Disruptive Times program at the University of California, Riverside Extension, and the Institute for Next Level Leadership.
