Elliott Zakem serves as a Director on Bank of America’s Rates & Currencies Solutions team, based in Boston, MA. As a Rates & Currencies Advisor with over 14 years of experience, Elliott’s primary responsibilities center on providing financial risk management solutions to BofA’s Global Commercial Banking clients headquartered in the Northeastern United States. Such solutions include developing company-specific interest rate and foreign currency hedging policies, helping corporations manage the risk of event-driven transactions, advising clients on optimal capital structure considerations, and assisting companies with their FX payments flows.
Prior to relocating to Boston in 2017, Elliott was based in San Francisco, CA where he covered the bank’s clients across the Pacific Southwest Middle Market and within the Technology & Entertainment industry vertical. Before joining BofA in 2011, Elliott worked at JPMorgan Chase in Chicago, where he started his career and worked in a similar role for six years.
Elliott holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Business Economics from the University of Notre Dame, and is a CFA Charterholder.
