Jim Blinka

As the Wisconsin Practice Leader for Tax Services, Jim Blinka is responsible for establishing objectives and managing all aspects of the Wisconsin practice including strategic planning, budgeting, client services, sales and marketing, recruiting and staff development. Jim’s primary area of practice includes consultation on a variety of C-corporation and pass thru issues such as accounting methods, revenue recognition, expense deductibility, multi-state apportionment etc. In addition, he spends a significant amount of time consulting on merger and acquisition issues such as the IRC section 338 elections, due diligence, and NOL carry-forwards. Over the course of Jim’s career, he has worked with public, private and non-profit entities in widely diverse industries including manufacturing, distribution, technology, financial services, healthcare and real estate.

Jim is also a member of our Compensation and Benefits Practice and regularly consults with businesses and individuals regarding complex executive compensation issues.
