Steve French serves as the Executive Director, Cyber Operations & Risk Management, and Deputy Chief Information Security Officer. Steve joined Texas Capital in September 2014 and has over 25 years of experience in Technology and Cyber Security across consulting, financial services, hospitality, retail, and telecommunications industries.
Steve is responsible for the design, execution, and continuous improvement of Texas Capital’s Cyber Assessment, Risk Management, Insider Risk, and Security Awareness programs to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Bank data and systems. He also oversees the operational aspects of the Information Security department including budgeting, interfacing with Internal and External Audit, and facilitating regulatory exams.
Prior to working for Texas Capital Bank, Steve lead various Cyber Security, Information Technology, and IT Audit teams for Interstate Batteries, Brinker International, KPMG, and MCI WorldCom. Steve currently holds his Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification. He is married with two children.
