As CFO of VARI, Craig Storey’s goal is to create an efficient and productive environment – with a healthy bottom line – to further the company’s mission of creating Active Workspaces.
Craig oversees the Accounting, Finance, International and Education teams for VARI. Since joining the company in 2014, Craig has refined the company’s logistics and opened new lines of distribution – both vital to enhancing the customer experience.
During Craig’s tenure, the Dallas-area company has grown to more approximately 275 employees in just five years. VARI also won SMU’s Dallas 100 Entrepreneur award in 2016, and its founders were honored with EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2017.
Prior to VARI, Craig served as a financial and operational executive for several companies including Heelys, Mattel and Radica Games. In 2007, he co-founded Sprig Toys, a green toy company for preschoolers. He is a CPA and graduated from Arizona State University in 1991 with a Bachelor of
Science degree in Finance.
Craig also sits on the board of StandUpKids – an organization with a mission to ensure every publicschool child has access to a standing desk.
