Responsibilities
Harshal is a Vice President within the Aon Pharmacy Practice and is based in Pittsburgh PA. He is accountable for the design and delivery of the Aon Pharmacy Coalition (ARxC) service model to all clients up to 10,000 lives. Harshal leads a team of 3 Pharmacy Consultants who provide financial,
operational, and clinical expertise to our clients. Harshal also consults Aon’s large market employer group, public-sector, and retiree solutions clients
manage their pharmacy benefit programs.
Experience & Expertise
Harshal brings over 15 years of pharmacy experience to the Aon Pharmacy practice and its clients. Prior to joining Aon, Harshal served as the Manager of
Clinical Pharmacy for Independence Blue Cross in Philadelphia, PA. In his role, he was responsible for the strategic clinical design and development of
Independence’s Medicare Part D products and formularies. Harshal was accountable for the plan’s Medicare Part D STARS quality performance, where
he developed the creative solutions and innovative partnerships needed to achieve a 5 STAR rating. Harshal has experience partnering with regional hospital systems and pharmacy chains to develop population health initiatives and clinical programs. Harshal has supported CMS program audits and has also presented at industry conferences. Prior to Independence, he has a unique background working within a group practice of Family Medicine physicians.
