Rob Nielsen

Rob Nielsen has exclusively represented locally headquartered office tenants in lease renewals, expansions and relocations for fourteen years. He specializes in working with companies that have a portfolio of leased or owned offices, and has opened offices for clients in eight different states. His extensive experience representing tech companies, financial institutions, and other professional service firms has made him one of the most highly recommended tenant rep brokers in Seattle.

Before joining JLL in 2008, Rob represented tenants as a broker at Grubb & Ellis and spent three years in a privately held investment management firm specializing in commercial real estate development.
Rob’s accomplishments include co-authoring the Routledge published business book Leading with Humility. His extensive research and thought leadership on the topic has been cited in over 200 peer-reviewed journals and text books, and he’s been quoted in Fast Company, The Huffington Post, and Psychology Today on the subject. Rob supports many local philanthropic organizations, illustrated by his 10 years of not-for-profit board leadership experience, including chair of Crisis Connection’s board of trustees and currently serving on Sound Health’s Board of Directors.

Rob lives in Wallingford with his wife and two toddlers. He enjoys spending time with his family and their eleven year old “puppy”.
