Tommy Mixon is an Executive Risk Consultant with expertise in financial institutions and private equity. His role is to create and execute strategies that lead to better financial outcomes for USI clients. Tommy has been with USI since Spring 2021. Prior to USI, he was a Senior Underwriter in New York City with a focus on private equity funds and portfolio platforms.
While in New York, Tommy was the lead underwriter for some of the largest private equity firms in the world. He also has experience underwriting IPO’s, take privates, and SPACs.
Tommy holds a B.B.A. in Risk Management & Insurance from the University of Georgia. Tommy is a board member of the UGA Alumni Association as well as Alumni Advisor and career coach to those who graduate from the Terry College of Business.
Tommy, his wife, and daughter live in Dallas, Texas.
