Emeka Elenwune

Background: Emeka is a senior audit manager in KPMG’s Short Hills, New Jersey practice. He has more than 10 years of experience providing professional audit services to domestic and multinational clients in a variety of industries, including chemicals, life sciences and consumer products.

Professional and industry experience: Emeka has extensive experience serving large multinational and mid-market companies across various industries in accordance with PCAOB requirements, U.S. GAAP and IFRS. He has a strong understanding of SEC rules and regulations as well as experience with SEC filings, Sarbanes-Oxley 404 audits, carve-outs and statutory financial statement audits.

Emeka’s technical audit experience includes revenue recognition, leasing, business combinations, restructuring activities, inventory and goodwill valuation and other matters.

Emeka serves as a KPMG data and analytics champion for the Metro New York business unit. In this role, he has assisted and advised various KPMG audit engagement teams in utilizing the firm’s analytical tools in performing high quality audits and providing enhanced client service.

Emeka also serves as a KPMG national audit instructor and has developed and delivered internal and external training programs covering a variety of technical accounting and audit methodology topics.
