Jennifer Gray

Jennifer Gray is a Director in the Federal Legislative and Regulatory Services (FLRS) in KPMG’s Washington National Tax Office. The FLRS practice gives clients immediate notification about breaking developments in tax legislation or federal tax regulations; coordinates the early identification of specific client issues concerning legislation, regulations, rulings, and other administrative pronouncements

​​​​​Jennifer Gray rejoined the Federal Legislative and Regulatory Services (FLRS) practice of KPMG in 2014.  Prior to returning to KPMG, Jennifer served as the primary tax lobbyist for the National Multi Housing Council and Koch Companies Public Sector, LLC. She also spent six years as  Counsel to United States Senators serving on the Senate Finance, Senate Budget, and Senate Commerce Committees.  Ms. Gray’s responsibilities included developing, analyzing, and managing all legislative priorities and initiatives for the Senators in the areas of federal tax, trade, pension and budget policy. Prior to her service in the U.S. Senate, Ms. Gray was a Manager in the FLRS practice at Washington National Tax and practiced tax law at Hogan & Hartson, LLP and Taft, Stettinius, & Hollister, LLP.  She received her J.D. at Harvard Law School and earned her undergraduate degree at Centre College of Kentucky.
