Kevin Lavin

Kevin Lavin is a Partner providing accounting and advisory services to clients in the technology industry, focusing on transactions.​​

He leads engagement teams assisting various clients in accounting and reporting considerations for business combinations and IPOs, including conducting due diligence procedures, compiling pro forma financial information, evaluating accounting policies for conformity, assessing purchase accounting, drafting registration statements, evaluating compliance with SEC financial reporting requirements, assessing companies for IPO readiness, and performing project management functions. ​

He previously spent 5 years in EY’s National Professional Practice group in New York, including an 18 month professional practice fellowship at the Center for Audit Quality in Washington, D.C. ​

His areas of technical emphasis while in EY’s National office included all aspects of accounting and reporting for business combinations, goodwill and intangible assets, and segment reporting. His responsibilities included consulting with clients and engagement teams on technical accounting and reporting matters, evaluating trends in SEC comment letters and assisting in drafting responses, and drafting thought leadership pieces. ​​​​

​He holds a BS in accounting from The George Washington University. He is a CPA licensed in California and New York, and is a member of the AICPA.​​
