Michael serves as the Director of Investment Services and Chief Investment Officer at Clarfeld | Citizens Private Wealth, leading the firm’s entire investment practice including governance, strategy and enhancing the overall client investment experience. More specifically, Michael directs the macro-economic and
tactical asset allocation strategy, researching and evaluating managers for inclusion on the firm’s investment platform. He Chairs both the Clarfeld Investment Policy Committee and The Trust Investment Policy and Strategy Committee.
Michael regularly provides his insights and perspectives on the trends and developments impacting the markets, economy, asset allocation and the wealth management industry to broadcast and national media outlets. He has appeared on Bloomberg TV, CNBC and Yahoo! Finance and frequently speaks to Bloomberg News, CNN Business, CNBC.com, Reuters, the Wall Street Journal and other leading publications.
Prior to joining Clarfeld in 2012, Michael was a portfolio analyst and financial advisor at RMR Wealth Builders, an investment advisory firm, where he was responsible for client asset allocation modeling and fund selection.
Michael received his B.A. from Queens College.
