Anwiti Bahuguna is head of multi-asset strategy and a senior portfolio manager for the Global Asset Allocation Team at Columbia Threadneedle Investments. She is responsible for asset allocation research and portfolio management of the firm’s asset allocation funds and separately managed accounts.
She is a frequent guest on financial news programs like Bloomberg Radio and Yahoo Finance, her economic views
are often cited by media publications, and she regularly presents her investment outlook at industry conferences. Anwiti joined one of the Columbia Threadneedle Investments legacy firms in 2002 as a project manager and was promoted to portfolio manager in 2006. She is the lead portfolio manager on the Capital Allocation Funds, the Future Scholar 529 Portfolios and several other strategies.
Previously, Anwiti worked at Fleet, in its corporate strategy and development group. She has worked in the investment industry since 1998 and is a member of the National Association for Business Economists and the Boston Economic Club. She received a B.S. in economics and mathematics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University and a Ph.D. in economics from Northeastern University.
