George Lambros

George Lambros recently returned to the U.S. after eight years in the Middle East, where he most recently served as Chief Human Resources Officer for Alghanim Industries, a $3 billion, 15,000 employee family-owned conglomerate based in Kuwait.  George brings a unique perspective to the talent retention discussion, having spent the bulk of his career in various finance and accounting roles with large multinational companies. During his three year tenure as CHRO at Alghanim Industries, George led several company-wide initiatives to improve employee engagement and talent retention, including the transition from a traditional to completely open office plan, the launch of a multi-faceted gender diversity program, an expansion of the company-wide talent review process, and other actions designed to listen to and engage with employees across the company.  

George joined Alghanim Industries as Corporate Controller, and previously he was Vice President - Finance at Tyco International’s Fire & Security Group, where he led the FP&A, strategy and M&A functions.  Earlier in his career, he held various business unit CFO and corporate planning roles with Ryder System.  

George holds a Masters in Business Administration (Finance) and Bachelors of Science (Accounting) from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana.
