EXPERIENCE
Matt is a Tax Partner in the BDO Detroit Tax Practice. With over 14 years of experience, including 4 with the Big Four, Matt has assisted both private and public companies with various tax matters. His primary areas of focus are with complex, multi-national C-Corporations, in addition to private equity backed portfolio companies. Matt serves clients in many industries including private equity, manufacturing and distribution, technology, and retail.
As the lead point of contact for his clients, Matt is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day tax service delivery. His responsibilities include coordinating the timely completion of federal, state, and international annual tax compliance, preparing and reviewing ASC 740 income tax accounting computations, and managing federal and state income tax examinations.
